Weigela florida Goldrush
Common Name: Goldrush Weigelia
Gold Rush Weigela (Weigela florida ‘Gold Rush’) has gold-and-green variegated foliage that gives the shrub interest beyond its flowers. Light pink blooms appear in late spring, adding a softer color above the patterned leaves.
Its medium size makes it useful within a shrub border or as a repeated foliage accent. Allow enough space around each plant for the leaves to remain visible instead of being hidden by taller companions.
Choose a sunny position and allow room for the shrub to reach its full width. Water while the roots become established.
